This is Universal Binary. and freeware.

Note

SafariStand version number synchronizes supported Safari version.

2.0bx is Safari 2.0 only.
1.3bx is Safari 1.3 only.

English documentation is not available yet. But User Interface is almost English. There are some reviews written by English on the web.

SafariStand uses OgreKit.framework for Regular Expression.

- Sidebar : accepts drop raw "http://~" text
- Downloading .flv now works not only YouTube but also almost Flash (command + click on Flash, and follow context menu)

Install : SIMBL way (Recommended)

- Install SIMBL
- Quit Safari.
- If you use old version with standard way, move "/Users/YOU/Library/InputManagers/SafariStand" to trash (or other location) .
- move "SafariStand/SafariStand.bundle" into your SIMBL plugin folder, like this.
* Result path is "/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/SafariStand.bundle".
* "SafariStand-loader.bundle" and "Info" file are not needed.
* Recommended SIMBL version is 0.8.1 or later.

For Intel Mac users : Universal Binary version of SIMBL is 0.8.1 or later.

If you want to copy setting from other Mac, copy these file and folder.
/Users/YOU/Library/Preferences/jp.hetima.SafariStand.plist
/Users/YOU/Library/Safari/Stand

Install : standard way

- Quit Safari.
- Place the 'SafariStand' folder inside "/Users/YOU/Library/InputManagers/"
* If 'InputManagers' folder does not exist. You need create it manually.
* If modification date of "SafariStand/SafariStand-loader.bundle" is same as you have used, you need only replace "SafariStand/SafariStand.bundle".

Tips

You can make separator in Bookmarks Bar and Bookmarks Menu.

Create Bookmark {URL="-:-",title="-"} or create folder {title="-:-"}. It makes separator.
If title of the Bookmark is not "-" but some text, or folder title is like "-:-label". It makes labeled separator.

How to use Stand Bar.

Create new "Collection" named "Stand Bar" in Safari's Bookmark. Put bookmark of Side Bar (or anything) into it. 3rd button of Stand Bar can be used if select "Rebuild Menu".
Create new "Collection" named "Stand Bar RSS". Put bookmark of RSS feed into it. 4th button of Stand Bar can be used if select "Rebuild Menu".

You can make "Create New Tab" button in Bookmarks Bar.

Check "Enable Bookmarks Bar Action" in SafariStand Setting > Genaral. And create bookmark that URL is "action_message:newTab:" in Bookmarks Bar. ("action_message:" protocol is only enabled in Bookmarks Bar and Bookmarks Menu)
